It's a place that food critics love to rave about and a favourite haunt of Fay Maschler and the late AA Gill among others. Presided over by chef/proprietor Andrea Riva it specialises in the Northern Italian dishes of the Lombardy region and the food here is very different from standard Neopolitan trattoria fayre. Polenta and risotto are a speciality and Riva is famed for its use of truffles. It's a seriously foodie haunt loved by other chefs and both Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver cite it as one of their favourite restaurants.
