Chris Barber returns to St Paul's after being part of the 2004-5 season and in 2014 celebrates his 65th anniversary as band-leader. He brings with him Europe's most successful and influential traditional jazz band. The Big Chris Barber Band is a 10-piece combo, featuring a 7-strong front line, Chris will play a selection of his favourite music, from his roots in New Orleans style in 'Bourbon Street Parade' to the early music of Duke Ellington and Sidney Bechet. This promises to be an exciting, and often moving, evening of world-class jazz – not to be missed!
